BABATUNDE Designs

The story behind this fashion label begins like all the others: promoting Africa, Africa inspired, and so on. There’s something unique, however, about what this brand represents that’s striking. It states as its mission: “We at Babatunde urge the father-figures to return to Africa.” Now that’s different, and bold!

The designs are undeniably fabulous – from umbrellas, head wear, neck wear and bags, it truly is becoming bigger than just a brand, it’s more like a movement.

Favorites are the umbrella ($45), short brim trilbies head wear ($30), Accra bowtie ($10) and the Ashanti laptop sleeve ($30).
