Neroli Essential Oil

The distinctive, spicy yet flowery scent of neroli oil and its innocuous, palliative attributes make it an excellent ingredient for most of today’s fragrances. Produced from the bitter orange tree, neroli possesses some of the essential qualities of the orange plant, like its soporific functions.

Alongside these characteristics is its ability to minimize heart palpitations and appease anyone in moments of fright. It is even believed to decrease blood pressure and may aid in the relief of stress-related diarrhea. Symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and menstrual cramps may also be alleviated with this oil. Orange flower water, a derivative of neroli, is sometimes used to assist proper digestion and ward off fevers. It may be used to relieve inflammation caused by psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis.

As a beauty product, it is believed to deter scarring and stretch marks. Its function of amplifying circulation and promoting the growth of new cells compliments its ability to cure stress-related skin problems. Neroli oil is said to work wonders on all skin types, especially on dry and sensitive skin. It normalizes skin oiliness, thus helping in controlling such skin conditions as acne and blemishes.

It is a mood enhancer that helps ward off feelings of depression, grief, hysteria, mood swings and nervousness. It may even help with anxieties and panic attacks by suppressing stress and tension while promoting joy, peace and everything positive.

Because of its high cost, neroli is often adulterated. Complete benefits may be attained in its purest form. Be sure to adhere to all instructions.
