This week, our inspirational quote comes from television host and actress, Joselyn Dumas. Last year, as ebola took the lives of thousands in West Africa and cholera remained a threat and also took numerous lives in Ghana, she launched a campaign dubbed “XCholera” where she and her team stormed Nima market to educate traders about the disease. Using her celebrity status and massive social media following, she pulled volunteers to the venue to make this campaign materialize. We acknowledge her efforts and tip our Obaasema hat to her.
