Indeed. This young woman of British and Ghanaian descent fired through UK’s “The X Factor” in 2014 and got people talking with her rendition of “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson, which shot up to the number one spot on the UK iTunes store. Although she didn’t win the number 1 position on the show, she has proven that resilience is necessary for success. That’s the Obaasema spirit. We can’t wait for the release of her debut album!
