How to Make Homemade Banana Oatmeal Bread

This is one of those simple, healthy, delicious recipes you can’t dismiss. It’s rich in healthy fats, protein, magnesium, vitamin E, potassium, fiber and antioxidants and the whole family can enjoy it, even picky children. Preparation time is just about 10 minutes and cooking time around 60 minutes. It’s perfect for breakfast or as an afternoon snack with your favorite herbal tea.

Ingredients:
3 cups of oatmeal
2 very ripe bananas
2 teaspoons of baking powder
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoons of vanilla
4 cubes of brown sugar (if you prefer to add sugar)
1 tsp of cinnamon
4 eggs
½ cup of water
½ cup of crushed almonds (optional)

Preparations:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Blend the oatmeal into powder form
  3. Blend all of the ingredients in a blender minus the oatmeal, almonds and sugar
  4. Mix all ingredients except almonds in a blender until it creates a batter. Add the almonds
  5. Spray your loaf pan with cooking spray
  6. Pour the batter into the loaf pan
  7. Allow to bake for 1 hour or insert a toothpick in the middle and check to see if it comes out clean
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool a bit
  9. Enjoy warm with your favorite herbal tea
