A lemon detox routine should begin early in the morning before you start loading your body with all kinds of foods.
How is a lemon detox done? First, you’ll need water and lemon.
Start with hot or room temperature water and a lemon fruit. Simply squeeze a full lemon into 8 ounces of water and drink it to help flush out toxins. This can be taken throughout the day as well.
Resetting your body in the morning is a great way to start your day. It prepares your body for the emotional, physical and spiritual activity it will be experiencing. Additionally, it makes you alert and better positioned to get through your day on a positive note.
You can also take a shot of apple cider vinegar with lemon first thing in the morning and before bed to cut through unwanted fat.
Green and ginger teas also have the same antioxidant benefits. You can add some fresh lemon to them if you prefer.
Finally, don’t go without your water. If any of the these options don’t work for you, water is your best bet. Get a water bottle and set out to drink at least three bottles of water from it every day.
