This is one of the most fascinating fashion labels in Ghana. Founded by Madonna Kendona-Sowah, a woman from northern Ghana bent on helping change negative perceptions about the north, the designs are created with handwoven fabrics made from the raffia palm.
Considering the rough and dry nature of this plant in its raw state, it’s quite impressive to see it showcased via classy, fashionable designs by the design label.
Personal favs are the Cigarette pants, scoop neck pencil dress, pleated A-line skirt and the two-fabric handwoven patchwork skirt (all shown in image above).
The coolest thing about this brand is that it has a wide range of sizes! Every woman’s dream!
