Join The Obaasema Salon: Eating Our Way Back Home

Growing up, many of us never questioned our food. Then wellness trends arrived and suddenly, health meant green smoothies and foreign grains. African meals soon became dismissed as too heavy or lacking the ‘refined’ look of Western plates. However, there is now a growing realisation that African food and wellness share a deep, historical connection. Our indigenous ingredients are essentially the superfoods the rest of the world is just now discovering.

This growing shift is what our upcoming Obaasema Salon will explore in a practical, live webinar.

Chef Joseph Odoom, Head Chef at Restaurant Momi and winner of DSTV’s House of Chefs, has spent his career across Africa and Europe reimagining our heritage ingredients for today’s table. With a deep understanding of both culinary science and African flavours, he will guide us through the connection between African food and wellness during this session.

If you are ready to reclaim your vitality while celebrating heritage, then come join us. Let’s learn how to master African food and wellness and truly eat our way back home.
