1. Cook mom her favorite meal! Does she love beef sauce or jollof rice? Whether you’re on a tight budget or simply couldn’t find time to go gift-shopping, this is something you can easily do.
2. Are you skilled with your fingers? We’re not talking about cooking – we mean writing. If your writing skills can be termed as average-great, then put that pen on paper and write your heart out to your mom!
3. Ask your mom if she has any important errands to run. Take out your post-it notes and get ready to write down everything she needs help with – you’ll take some load off her shoulders and put a smile on her face.
4. Last but not least, call into her favorite radio show and dedicate a song or leave a message to be read out loud at a time she’ll be listening.
There are a gazillion ways to show your mother love without buying her a gift. Go out of your way to put a smile on her face, she deserves it.
